Spontaneous leg hugs while washing the dishes
using the potty to scale the bookshelf
cuddling with dinos and flashing a smile

lifting the big ball, much bigger than me
reading with froggy and also daddy
looking through cabinets and striking a pose

when it's bedtime
when I'm hungry
when I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
and then I don't feel so bad
